Field kit: drafts waiting offline
Sample company · demo data

The field kit keeps the phone useful where the connection is weak. Its scope is deliberately narrow: work that can be done offline is kept apart from work that must be online.

Possible offline

  • Writing a record draft and adding photos.
  • Closing an assigned action with its evidence.
  • Answering audit questions (pilot).

Needs a connection

Approving, completing an audit and viewing someone else's record need a connection, because they must use current permissions and current data. When the connection returns, drafts are sent in order and the person is asked if there is a conflict.

Data stored on the phone

Drafts waiting on the phone are kept in an encrypted local vault and cannot be opened once the session ends. Sensitive record types (such as those with health data) are never taken offline.
