Business continuity: critical positions and backups

In many plants some work depends on one person's knowledge. When that person is on leave or leaves, the work stops. The continuity screen opens this risk with a simple question: “What should we do now?”

How is it assessed?

• Position criticality: with criteria the company chooses.
• Leaving risk: the person's situation and the information the company enters.
• Backup: ready, in training or none.
• Action: train a backup, transfer knowledge, on-the-job training.

How was it calculated?

Every risk score has a “how was this calculated?” link showing, line by line, which inputs and weights produced it. Personal information is visible only to authorised people.
