The Gemba board is the digital version of the whiteboard where the team meets. Indicators, calendars and open actions sit on one screen; a light, landscape presentation view is designed for a monitor.
What is on the board?
- SQCD calendars: green or red each day.
- Indicators: entered by hand or fed by the system (open actions, attendance).
- Actions: opened in the meeting, sent to the central list.
- Layout: where each box sits is set per board.
The board tree
Cell boards can roll up into department boards and department boards into a plant board. Senior management sees indicators from sub-boards on one screen and can drill down when needed.
