Employees without email: signing in with a staff number and PIN

If the suggestion system is open only to desk staff, the most valuable ideas stay outside. That is why employees can sign in with a staff number and a short PIN instead of an email.

Security

• Repeated wrong PINs lock the account temporarily.
• An employee who forgets the PIN requests a reset from the sign-in screen; the person allowed to reset it is notified.
• Idle sessions end automatically; shared devices can use a shorter timeout.
• Admin accounts have two-step verification.

Shared devices

When a shared tablet or kiosk sits at the line, each employee signs in with their own staff number, does their task and signs out; the record is opened in their name.
